raisedUP was lucky enough to have a Gainesville family request a unique bookshelf for their new baby boy. Fun project! We designed and made it up from scratch built with poplar then white-pickled.

raisedUP just finished a small pergola at a nearby hotel pool. Redesigned and built the top which had previously rotted. The jasmine will now grow up and over for decoration.

When you plant your veggies, the spacing is such that when the vegetables are fully grown, their leaves just barely touch each other, creating a microclimate in which w**d growth is suppressed and moisture is conserved. :) Raised beds extend the planting season,they can reduce w**ds if designed and planted properly and reduce the need to use poor native soil. Also, since the gardener does not walk on the raised beds, the soil is not compacted and the roots have an easier time growing.
