Fresh paint, beautiful new chandeliers, and brand-new tile flooring have completely changed the feel of this home. The old floors were cracked, uneven, and patched together with three different materials from the front entry through the hallway, so creating one seamless foundation made all the difference.

One of my favorite things about this condo is the layout—wide hallways, oversized bedrooms, plenty of storage, and a living space designed for gathering. Oceanfront condos don’t always offer this kind of functionality.

As a designer, I see incredible bones here. With the layout already in place, a simple update of finishes and furnishings could completely transform this diamond in the rough into something spectacular.

Here's something most people don't think about until it's too late: barstool height actually has a formula. 🪑

For a comfortable seat, you want about 9 to 13 inches between the top of your stool and the underside of your counter or island. Counter height surfaces (36") need a counter stool. Bar height surfaces (42") need a bar stool. They're not interchangeable!

Save this before you shop so you don't end up with stools that don't fit. 📐
