It looks like a tiny haunted house… but can you guess what it really is? 👀
With its little glass windows, hinged door, and ornate metalwork, this unusual piece was actually made to hold and display candlelight. I love finding old home decor like this because even the smallest pieces were once designed with so much detail and purpose.

Sometimes the best pieces are already sitting in a cabinet waiting for a little attention. This old silver candelabra started out dull and tarnished, but with some silver polish, a little elbow grease, and plenty of buffing… look at that shine. 🤍
There’s just something about bringing old silver back to life and imagining it on a holiday table again.

🪑 Forgotten Furniture | Episode 10
At first glance, it looks like a strangely designed chair… but every part of it had a job. 👀
A place for your jacket. A rail for trousers. A seat for getting dressed. Even a small compartment for cuff links and accessories.
This is a Mid-Century Gentleman’s Valet Chair — a piece of furniture designed to keep an entire outfit organized and ready to go. Some versions were even referred to as a “silent servant.”
Furniture used to be so incredibly specific… and that’s exactly why I love finding pieces like this.

This particular trip turned into a little bit of a story 😂 but that’s part of the fun of sourcing vintage, you never really know what you’re going to find, what you’ll end up bringing home, or what kind of rabbit hole a piece might send you down afterward.
And yes… this one definitely came home with me. 🤎
