We make furniture and home decor products out of reclaimed materials found in Detroit. We find the wood, mill it, build it, and sell it ourselves. Most of the materials we find are an after-product of illegal dumping. A serious problem that further sets back the neighborhoods in which it occurs. This city is making efforts to clean up the blight and neglect, and this is our effort to help. Not everything needs to go into a landfill.

This "before" is criminal

But don't worry, things are going to change for the better. Another reason why you should hire an interior designer, because this would never happen

POV: When you say you want a unique space… we’ll always respond with, “Say less.”

This kitchen was definitely one of those projects where we had the material, a great design, and knew it was going to be the perfect funky little statement for our client.

We’ve always gravitated toward these porcelain enamel panels and have used them in other projects over the years. Believe it or not, they’re very Art Deco and were commonly used on old garages, gas stations, and storefronts.

The minty green was absolutely perfect for this kitchen, and we definitely got creative when it came to turning the panels into cabinet doors.

Just one example of how we use reclaimed materials in the most unexpected ways at Woodward Throwbacks.

truck rooted in durability, capability and community.

This past week Kyle and I got to check out the new 2027 F-150® Carhartt package and yeah…it did not disappoint. Being part of this city, watching it grow and evolve, and then getting to witness two iconic brands with such deep Detroit roots come together like this is just cool. And makes us pretty damn proud to be part of it.

Because while we definitely love riding in style... and let’s be real, Detroiters always have...I think we love the story behind it even more.

The history, the people and seeing brands continue to create moments that feel like us. Detroit making Detroit look good....its a beautiful thing
