This is just one example of ice damage to washers and valves.

This is what happens when you have water in your gas tank. You will find the engine will sputter or not run at all. I found almost 1 inch of water in the tank. Had to clean the bowl, tank and carb out. Water can and will get in your carry tanks in a rain storm if you do not have caps on them.

So this is what the ethonal gas does if it's allowed to sit for extended time. I use 100% gasoline in all my small engines. If you use the engines daily the ethonal gas is ok. But when you know you are not going to be using them for a while start putting 100% gas in them. Then when you store them add some stabil to the mix.

This is a truck we just completed for a customer. We had built one before and the way it was laid out they had plenty of deck space. But this time the tank manufacturer had changed the tank design so we lost some deck space. Also this time instead of 1 pump and engine and 1 hose reel, we have 2 pumps and engines and 2 hose reels. Which involved making everything fit and still give them deck space. When the truck was delivered the driver said "I have more deck space than I thought I would". They have a heater that runs off the engine heater lines so in the winter they can drive down the road and keep everything nice and warm. This body has 5 roll down doors that lock. Dave

Make sure your couplings are aligned correctly. This one is not. It has chewed up the rubber part between the couplings. It's called a spider. Just a little extra time will make sure things last longer.

Sometimes I help a friend of mine with his carwash repair service. Essential Pressure Systems. Yesterday one of his customers had a chain issue. Found out the part that pushes the rollers up that moves the cars was bent. Something got hung in it and bent it. When I got there one of the rollers was jammed up good. Had to get that unstuck. Then had to remove the bent part, heat it up and straighten it out. Then reinstall it. Next week I think we will be replacing the whole chain and rollers. Btw that's not me in the pic.

The other day one of my customers called me and said his pump was not putting out pressure. so we had to take off some hoses to make sure nothing was clogged. first the suction line and confirmed water was getting to the pump. then the pressure side, nothing coming out of the pump. so this was a Wanner/Hydracell pump its not so easy to get to the valves. on some hypros, or udor pumps its a little easier. but the iron kind of turns into a glue so to speak and will make the valves stick to the seat. he called the chemical company and supposedly there is a few steps when mixing the chemicals you can do to keep this from happening. so if you have used iron in your system and the pump quits working thats probably the problem. on some pumps its a quick easy fix and we can solve it over the phone.
