PEOPLE
Make a plan to stay warm and safe during freezing temperatures
Use space heaters safely — keep them at least three feet away from children, pets and flammable items and never use ovens or stoves for heating
Only use generators outdoors in well-ventilated areas to avoid carbon monoxide exposure

PETS
Bring pets indoors and ensure they have a warm, safe place to stay

PIPES
Insulate exposed pipes and let faucets drip to help prevent freezing
Know how to shut off your water in case a pipe bursts

PLANTS
Cover or bring in plants to protect them from freezing temperatures
