A few weeks back, I ventured into building something new for a special occasion. Rest assured, it came with its load of issues, steep learning curve, and above all, attention to many details. Made from individually chosen Black Walnut wood, golden hinges, magnetic cover, brass dowel accents, champaign bronze k***s, full grain leather lining, cnc carved initials filled with black epoxy, and custom made watch pillows.

It took me 6 weeks to design and build my first ever watch boxes, a quick trip to the ER (I still have all 10 fingers Thank God!), but great satisfaction in the end on how they turned out.

One of the first slab cutting boards that I made for myself (beefy chunk of black walnut wood), and was originally designed for heavy duty BBQ, kept hanging out in my kitchen. After 3 years of using it only for special occasions, I realized I could potentially repurpose it into my first end grain board. I decided to cut it up and give it a try. What do y’all think? Good call? Process of repurposing to follow in stories.

Another successful delivery of this large order. My favorite part was building these shotgun stands. The wood grain just jived perfectly with these shotguns.

Medium size black walnut cutting board measuring 16”x12”x1.625” with railroads spike handles. This size is the most practical for everyday use. You have a lighter, thinner board while still maintaining the same stylish and rustic look, at a more practical size.
