The first day of our 2024-25 classes went smoothly despite the rain.

Deric Calvert and I took my grandkids fishing in the little lake where Jonah Wesley, Judah and Louna caught their first fish. They did good, these are their very first catches and hope they catch many more. Thank you Christine Shippey always making us welcome.

As long as I can remember my dad has been a carpenter and of course an awesome Pastor. From 1950 until present day he has built 100’s of houses, cabinets, commercial buildings and others things. I started going alone with him to work at the age of 6. When I was 15 dad bought he and I a matching set of bluegrass finish hammers. 50 years later we still have them. For Fathers Day I made him a plaque with those old hammers attached that reads Father/Son together we nailed it. I drove to Arkansas after church yesterday to surprise him with it. If you happen to be up that way go buy and visit, he’ll show you those hammers. Love my dad, best man I’ve ever known! Thank you Brigitte Dejohn for helping me with this special project

Flood Relief and Food Distribution Today at Hi-Way Tabernacle Assembly of God Hi-Way Tabernacle Food Pantry it all begins at 11:00. For those who are picking up Food Bank only it’s week 2 cards, those who are picking up for flood relief Operation Blessing you will be directed to that area. We will break from 1:00-2:00 to restock.
