As part of IDS Houston, I the absolute privilege of speaking to the design class at Carver High School this week, and I’m still so inspired by the experience.
Just last week, I got to see these incredibly talented students showcase their creativity in the Swatched competition—and this week, I had the chance to share my own journey into the design industry with them. It felt like such a full-circle moment.
Their ideas, perspective, and passion are next level. Honestly, I walked away feeling like I could probably learn more from them than they could ever learn from me. That kind of energy is rare, and it’s a reminder of why I love being part of this industry and this community.
So grateful for the opportunity—and so excited to see where these young designers go next. ✨
