Show and tell from Friendship Quilters meeting. Great job ladies!

Lecture on paper piecing next Wednesday at Friendship Quilters. This will be our speaker. She is giving this away as a door prize to a lucky member.

Closed on the house in 10 days. It sold in less than 2 days. There was a crazy bidding war, one guy kept upping his last bid-essentially out bidding himself. Kinda funny. I'm so thankful for all my friends and family who helped on "U-Haul" day. I'll miss my friend, Wendy. What a great neighbor. Now, back to quilting! Oh yeah, and trips in the new class C. Look for new quilting adventures and new quilts.

I know I showed this quilt before, but not up close and personal. I am soooo in love with this quilt that I had to show it up close. This is from Winnie Fleming's border class. One of the guild members from Bay Area Quilt Guild made it.

Well there goes my beautiful solid wood sewing machine cabinet. It's moving to a new home down in Corpus Christi. I know she'll love it as much as I did. I've also sold 15 featherweight machines as well as the longarm. Moving from a 3000 square foot house to a 1500 square house has got me decluttering. I'm liking the simple life in the country.

Here is one pile of quilts that got moved and dumped on the sofa. I carried them all upstairs today. Now the fun begins, I have to organize them all over again. These are my quits for my Quiltsmart lecture. Lots of fun, fun, fun ahead.

More show and tell from the Friendship Quilters meeting last Wednesday. Thursday we loaded all the furniture from our house, Friday we unloaded the Uhaul, a 26 footer! Saturday we went to pick up my big Juki J150, heavy sucker, my husband's childhood toy box, another heavy sucker and a small cabinet. Sunday we grabbed a grandchild and went off for a mini vacation in the rv. We're back home today, so now it's back to sorting quilts and putting them away. Wait till you see the piles and piles of quilts.

Can you believe these are prizes for coming to a class? Well, they are. I'm definitely going to that class!

This is a quilt dedicated to Sue Garman, designer and quilter whom I had the privilege of knowing. The last time we spoke was at a quilt guild retreat, we had a super fun weekend. Sure do miss her.

A couple of things from Sew In with my Galveston guild buddies. I worked on a Round Robin quilt that I can't show. It turned out better than I expected.
