Just a little sneak peek of what I have been working on! Yes I’m a Star Wars geek! I was raised on Star Wars!

With my son being an avid Lord of the Rings fan, I was motivated to craft a coffee table that fits his speakeasy-themed man cave perfectly. The design I conceptualized includes Legolas' fighting knives in a crossed formation accompanied by opposing Elven cloak clasps.

I provide custom furniture making services, allowing clients to specify size, style, and design preferences.

The process commences with a rough piece of walnut glued together, which is then cut down to the desired size. The incorporation of the "juice groove" around the edges of the board is the next step. A 45* chamfer is then applied around the bottom of the board, facilitating a firm grip on the substantial "brisket board". Subsequently, the wood is subjected to a water-popping process to raise the grain, allowing for further sanding to achieve the desired level of smoothness. This process is repeated until the final grit of 320 is attained. Ultimately, the application of oil marks the culmination of the process, where the true beauty of the Black Walnut is revealed.

I was given the privilege of making this serving board for a customer and I believe it turned out absolutely beautiful! It puts forth a calming and relaxing vibe! You can get lost just by looking into the figure of the wood and blue resin!
