The flu is no joke.

For some kids, it’s not just a few uncomfortable days on the couch.
It’s fevers so high they start hallucinating.
It’s emergency room visits because the fever refuses to break.
It’s holding your child still just to get medicine into them because they’re too sick, too tired, or too scared to cooperate.

It’s pacing the house all night, watching their chest rise and fall, afraid to close your eyes because you’re scared something could change if you do.
It’s that knot in your stomach that doesn’t loosen until you finally see improvement.

This isn’t about panic.
It’s about reality.

Not every child’s body handles illness the same way.
What feels “mild” to one family can be terrifying and dangerous for another.

So if you’re sick, please stay home.
Cancel the plans.
Skip the outing.
Protect the kids and families who can’t afford the risk.
