I've made the decision to close my booth at Painted Tree Marketplace - Cinco Ranch and everything is now 50% off. So if there's something you've had your eye on, now is the time to get it. A quick cutting board project for a friend. It’s going to be decorative only so I was able to add parts of a transfer.

The home office is finished.

My dresser is all set up in my new home office.
It offers plenty of storage and can stay in place if I need to turn the room back into a bedroom. And yes, I have a tv mounted in my home office because I like to watch the news in the morning and I also need background noise while I'm working. 😉

The dresser is painted a creamy white, has new hardware and a pretty floral transfer for some extra flair. And there's a little pink ribbon butterfly left over from another project in support of breast cancer awareness. Can you find it???

It's getting close...now time for the pizzazz!!!
As you can see I've drilled new holes for hardware - the original hardware on these vintage pieces is horrible and I always try to replace it. The new hardware will cover the original holes so no need to fill them...thank goodness.

Still working on my home office and I decided I needed a dresser for storage and just because...
This one has A LOT of scratches that I have sanded down and smoothed out. I'm still debating colors and design but have decided I want a classic look with a kick.

I couldn't find any artwork I liked or that was the right size for one of the walls in my home office so I made my own. It's 4' long and approximately 1-1/2" tall and the perfect size for that wall.

So it changed from pink to purple. 😁
If I had known I was going with purple from the beginning, I wouldn't have stained the top gray but it's done now.

This is SW Rainwashed. It's a pretty blue/green color that reminds me of the ocean. And it would look good with the pink of the table but I think the pink is a tad too bright.

First coat and I don't like it as much as I thought I would. My home office is painted the next shade up from SW Sea Salt so I went to the opposite of the color wheel for my "girlie" complimentary color scheme and, although it's really pretty, I didn't like it and have already changed the color.
