Hi Everyone!

The reason I've been so quiet lately is because I've been busy building this big L-shaped desk made from walnut and walnut ply for a new doctor's office in Ammon, ID called Freestone Family Medicine & Wellness.

This was an awesome bulid. The design process was challenging, but once we had everything figured out, these wonderful people gave me complete creative freedom to use rustic wood with cracks, knots, holes, and all that awesome character I love! It's the kind of wood I rarely get to use outside of my own personal projects.

For those curious about the dimensions:
34" deep
44" high
24" opening for the side window
84" on the long side
67" on the shorter side

Good morning!

Here is a prototype serving board I made for a local restaurant. Juice groove was added for design not for actual cutting...
If it were it would be a hardwood and not pine.

Sometimes as a maker you feel just as good fixing something you messed up that you thought was catastrophic as you do seeing the end result of what you make. I'll never show what I did of course but I went from bummed out to pretty happy. 😊

It's important to fail at what you love to do. Its how you learn and get better.

Hi Everyone, I had a request to make a bench to match the customers farmtable. It's a big one! 84" long, 17" high and 13" wide. Light distress, 5 coats polyurethane for the top, 3 coats Sherwin Williams enamel paint for the base.

Hi Everyone, I made this floating cross for a client with his favorite verse "Joshua 1:9" engraved on the front. Made of all walnut and measures 4" x 11" x 10". Hope you like it. 🙏😊

Hi Everyone, I had been wanting to do a stacked text sign for awhile. I had my oppurtunity for a newly wed couple. It's 3/4" x 9" x 24" with lacquer satin finish. Had a great time making it!

Hi Everyone, I posted this a month ago but took it down. I wanted to finish it before I posted it again. I stained it and made the welcome sign and planted the flowers. Looks really cool when that lantern turns on. Just a side project for my shop when I had time. It will eventually go into the garden I'll make next year in front of the shop. Made entirely of cedar. :)

Good Evening, I was asked to make this Dog Urn in the style of a dog house. I lasered the photo onto the wood and used cherry for everything except the maple Cross inlay. The bottom has rubber feet and the bottom comes off with screws. Very sturdy. It measures 6" x 6" x 8" so its small but this was a little dog. RIP
