As a proud sponsor of the Jamestown Youth Archery Teams, we commend you for putting on a fantastic 3D shoot this past weekend. The Pipestem Prowl was a success. The kids and coaches put in a tremendous amount of work planning and preparing the course, and it exceeded expectations for a first year shoot. If you missed it, you definitely missed a good time.
From grizzly bears, to beaver, there were targets of all sizes and shapes. They even had a mosquito suspended from a tree, and an alligator lurking along the swampy river bottom. Each target was presented in a real life scenario. Whether you were a beginner or an experienced archer, there was no excuse for not having a good time. Even with the less than desirable weather (it was windy), the wooded trails made the wind irrelevant.
They even had a concession stand serving burgers and homemade goodies. They had everything you could wish for at this event.
Fantastic job Jamestown Archers. I look forward to experiencing what you come up with next year.
