Brave Aesthetics is a bold adventure to pursue what you love. Jonathan Allen was born and raised in San Diego and after 5 years in the Marine Corps and a few years grinding away in a "day job" he quit his steady paying job to pursue is love of art and craftsmanship. Years later, he has helped found local artist movements, has been employed doing retail displays and design and continues to make inspiring and functional pieces for the home and office.

When you can’t find a cotton Pendleton fabric to inlay into your board you just paint it. Now off to get a clean gloss coat. Thanks for the colab on this epic fish.

It's been a real good run here Downtown. Made a lot of cool stuff and memories here but with change come opportunity. Time to find another studio space. Anyone know of some available creative space? I'm now on the hunt.

During the renovation of the Coronado last year I was able to snag some of the mahogany that held up the old bar as it was torn out. This wood shows it's history as well as the clean uncovered grain underneath. Super stoked on this new Modern Farm Table. for sale soon! 32x60"
