This is a live edge, dining table. We built for the Huvals in Lake Charles, Louisiana. You can see what the slabs look like before we started and the finished product. As always, Mother Nature , as always , did not disappoint with the beauty of Sinker Cypress.

Here are the pics of 3 tables we delivered to Rampart realty in Lafayette,La a few days ago. The office is on the eighth floor and the elevators are only 6’ deep. I built a 12’ conference table and had to cut it in half to get it on the elevator up to the office. We had to assemble it to haul it then disassemble it to get it on the elevator, dolly it into the office and reassemble it. There are 2 side tables. They all came out of the same 2 19’ sinker cypress slabs. The client was very pleased.

These are 3 of 4 tables we delivered to Malvern,Pa. 3 weeks ago. They are an 71/2’ x 46” wide conference table and a 30” x 54” writing desk with tapered legs and a 24” x 54” stand up video conference table. They are all from the same 2 slabs from the same log. Mother Nature did an incredible job with the varied brilliant colors. The client is from New Iberia and wanted a taste of home for his office. They were very pleased.
This is the video that was made when the Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain visited the shop. It’s a quick video explaining what a swamp longer/woodworker has to do to create furniture from the most beautiful wood in the country. Enjoy
