With summer just around the corner, we've been thinking back to time spent in Portugal and Spain and the ideas that stayed with us long after.
Between conversations with the locals to long languid meals, we were primed to be inspired. From the intricate tile work found across Portugal to the layered geometry and detail of the Alhambra in southern Spain, inspiration revealed itself throughout the region. Bougainvillea spilling over city streets, pottery lining walls, and gardens tucked behind gates.

In 2019, we took one of the biggest leaps of our lives: we purchased LA Mills, left the east coast, and started anew in Los Angeles. It was both exciting and uncertain, stepping into something far bigger than we fully understood. Not long after we arrived, the world shifted due to the pandemic. This was an unexpected pause to take it all in and find our own way forward. We kept the original team, stayed close to the craft, and learned as we went, bringing a new perspective to a process deeply rooted in tradition. Almost seven years later, things look a little different now... we're still here, still learning, and still making.

Our two solids from our Summer to Remember collection, Fresco and Grotto.
Fresco is inspired by aged walls, softly layered, timeworn surfaces where pigment settles into texture. It carries a depth, like walls that have held light and history over time. Grotto draws from stone-carved spaces, where surfaces feel grounded and architectural. It has a more sculptural presence, solid, shadowed, and slightly weathered, like stone shaped slowly by its environment.

Plumeria, part of our Oasis Outdoor collection, draws from the graceful structure of its namesake plant—elongated leaves, filtered light, and a sense of tropical ease. This collection is designed for outdoor living using light-fast solution dyed acrylic yarns that are soft and durable.

Having a mill on site means ideas come to life quickly. They’re shaped in real time and refined through constant dialogue between design and the hands that bring it to life.
Arabesque, a pattern from our latest collection A Summer to Remember, is woven on a jacquard loom, a process rooted in precision. Having skilled weavers guide the process ensures the highest quality. Inspired by tile-like geometries, Arabesque recalls sunlit streets and interlocking mosaic surfaces of old-world towns.
