Meeting for cocktails in Beverly Hills before night falls🥂

There’s a residential area in Silver Lake with the coolest, exotic mature plants 🌿 I love how some have been left to curl and form naturally and in some instances seemingly defy gravity.

in Los Angeles was giving me Luis Barragon vibes last night. Loreto is a hidden gem of a restaurant nestled in a residential / commercial neighborhood that borders the LA river known as Frogtown (Elysian Valley) ever since droves of frogs(technically small toads) living in the grassy shrubs along the river invaded the community en masse landing on cars, roofs and sidewalks (reminiscent of Paul Anderson’s “Magnolia” ) which was inspired by a verse in Exodus. Ribbit 🐸

A visit earlier this year to The Cork House (Cross Cabin) in Austin Texas was illuminating. Built entirely from plant- based materials, using thermally modified cork for insulation. The minute you enter, the house just feels and smells different in a very calming and peaceful way🌿

Sneak peek at the kitchen I remodeled for the flip I invested in. A small, two story hillside Mid Century house with treetop views. Amazing to think back to how I felt walking through the house for the first time, swipe to see the state it was in. Lovely staging 🌿

Nook in primary bedroom with custom loft style ladder. The view from the nook is pretty fab 🌿 Perfect for lounging or reading a book. Designing and investing in my first flip was difficult, educational and gratifying 💪 Slide left for a before pic.
