Sometimes “DIY-ers” need a hand. Our clients added the shiplap, and we finished this space off with these beautiful, custom built, solid oak floating shelves.
We love making a space come to life by creating statement pieces, designing custom furniture, and reworking existing features.

More functionality and beauty! We dressed up this laundry room with a custom built cabinet, shelves, laundry rods, clothes rack, and herringbone patterned subway tile. Nothing like making laundry a little less burdensome and pleasing to the eye.

Making the most out of a tight space. This little pantry has plenty of storage with a wine rack, shelves, pullouts, and drawers. Functionality and beauty belong together 😉

The long awaited office reveal is finally here! This project turned out to be a beast, requiring a full tear-out of the original bookshelves, rewiring electrical, and starting from scratch.
The number one requirement from my number one client (Jennifer Osley Strahan) was to be functional, so we extended the depth of the cabinets to ensure plenty of space for printer and added drawers for storage. We carried the Ambrosia Maple from her current desk to the countertop and floating shelves. To tie into other parts of the house and to add additional dimensions, we integrated timeless shiplap along the back wall.
Phase 1 down ✅

I finally got the floating shelves hung and started on drawer faces and doors. Project hopping makes your home projects go slower. Going to stay focused and finish the job at hand. Happy wife, happy life!

We’ve been waiting on the light and special hardware. My lovely, patient wife already seems more productive. 😂

Well, it’s tear out Tuesday! What better day to get started on my wife’s office remodel that she planned out over 2 years ago...sorry for the delay, my love ( ). I’ll squeeze your projects in a little more often 😘.

Don’t let the pictures fool you, that back wall is almost 14’wide. Y’all stay tuned as I work through this build and install.

There’s something timeless about mixing metal and wood together, and this style is one of our favorites. Here’s another great working space that was inspired by the entertainment center we created in 2020.

The barn doors create flexibility to slide to the outside, providing ample leg room for the desk, or keeping the outer shelves exposed and hiding the keyboard tray. In today’s world, flexibility is key.

Check out how these custom bookshelves turned out! They created the perfect nook in this office, and let’s face it — that’s one of the most essential rooms in most houses nowadays, thanks to COVID.

What started as a blank wall now has so much potential! The frosted/painted glass doors create a lot of flexibility to decorate this space. It didn’t take long for our clients to fill these us with their amazing book collection.

Here’s another COVID project we did during our downtime in the spring. We had done so many projects around the house, our son was feeling left out, so we updated his bedroom with a simple board-and-batten wall, a new ceiling fan, crown molding, cool dinosaur duvet, and glow-in-the-dark sheets. Everything else was recycled from inside the house. Updates don’t have to cost an arm and a leg; little things can go a long way.
And we forgot to take a Before photo, so you get this lovely paint sample photo instead. 😂

Check out that ceiling! We bought this house because we fell in love with its potential, but the openness and sunlight throughout the kitchen and keeping area were huge selling points for us. The wooden tongue-and-groove ceiling we installed was the perfect way to add warmth to this space, and raising the cabinets to the ceiling make the ceilings feel much taller in person.
So let us take you back...waaayyy back to where it all started so you can appreciate the metamorphosis of this space...

We’re excited to share this finished project with you! This custom built wet bar included glass inset cabinet doors and shelves, pull-out trash cans, and a hideaway for sink accessories. We even threw in under-cabinet party lights. 😂 It’s just missing the mini-fridge!
And let me say, these pieces are solid — it’s a good thing I brought the muscles (Jennifer Osley Strahan) for the install. 💪🏼
