New piece: can you guess what the "hooks" for this coat rack are ?

They are the mounting hardware from the bedrails of my grandmother's bed, flipped upside down; the pieces of wood in between the "hooks" are from the slats that helped support the mattress; the raised outside frame with the original flathead screws is part of the bedrails that the slats/mattress rested on and the background board (lighter in color) is reclaimed cypress from a farm in Eads, TN. I left everything original and only sealed with a clear poly.
(The main pieces from Grandmother's bed are part of a coffee table top from an earlier post.........
