original material & needlepoint embroidery , and is stuffed with horsehair .
dates from aprox. 1860

I am selling this 1920s -1940s (Monitor Furniture ) drop down slant desk with storage
all original , solid mahogany , also has ball & claw legs and 2 secret compartments which are hidden , very unique !! 4 pullout drawers and center compartment with a hinged door

Eastlake Victorian Walnut Burl Cylinder Barrel Roll Top Desk for sale
This item is an antique Victorian-style cylinder roll-top secretary desk, constructed from walnut with a burl wood veneer.
It features a curved, retractable cylinder top that covers a writing surface and small interior compartments.
A late Victorian (circa 1880-1890) walnut cylinder barrel roll-top desk, Eastlake style, features solid walnut construction, polished burl walnut panels, and a smooth-gliding tamboured barrel top. These desks commonly include a pull-out writing surface, opening to reveal small pigeonholes and drawers. It is all original and has the original Patina , and when I acquired I found a wedding invitation of the marriage of the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Vaughan Page , I believe it was a wedding gift in 1897 , This documentation will be given with the purchase
It has been cleaned & oiled by {TONY'S ANTIQUE & FURNITURE RESTORATION }
