Well. Now I want a burgundy bathtub.
Not exactly the safe choice. But somewhere along the way, we got entirely too comfortable with white tubs.
Burgundy + dusty blue + a little morning sun. The safe choice was never really the goal anyway.
To most people: “It’s just framing.”
To us: “Perfect. Let’s spend the next few hours discussing light fixture locations down to the inch.”
POV: your “quick site visit” turns into mentally booking a staycation. 🤎
Stopped by a past project because we’re adding onto the property, and honestly…this one still hits. The layered landscaping, resort-style pool, warm wood ceilings, organic textures, and the sound of water everywhere make it feel more boutique hotel than backyard.
The kind of house that makes you suddenly want linen pants, a spicy margarita, and absolutely no plans for the rest of the weekend. ✨

Closing out 2025 like this because honestly… what a year. Big ideas, half-finished to-do lists, moments of “I’ve got this,” and moments of “who let me do this?” Projects that stretched me, lessons I didn’t ask for, and wins that were quiet but hit deep.
This year wasn’t about perfection — it was about showing up, pivoting, trusting my eye, and learning when to stop overthinking and just do the thing. Some seasons were beige and beautiful. Some were moody and slightly unhinged. All of it mattered.
Leaving 2025 a little sharper, a little softer, and way less interested in explaining myself. Same taste. Bigger boundaries. On to whatever’s next.
