A local artist asked us to build some shelves for her studio overlooking the Cumberland River. The natural pine connects the surrounding nature to the space, while the simplicity of the design balances style and function making the artist’s collection the featured element of the studio.

It’s never just a bookcase. It holds our favorite stories, our souvenirs from far away places, our collections, and photos of the people we love.

We know we aren’t just building shelves. We are creating a place to hold and display memory. For us, building a shelf feels like an act of care.

Friends, this is the pantry that would have you excited about putting groceries away, grabbing ingredients for a birthday cake, or sneaking downstairs for a midnight snack. Our East Nashville clients had the vision and we built it.

We love the vintage inspired brass hardware, the classic blue paint color, and the white oak accents. But our favorite design element is the original historic house windows as cabinet doors.
