I positively CANNOT WAIT to wash, prep and spin this positively glorious “blue Romney” wool from Ovis Aries Farm - these fleeces are making me drool just thinking about how it’ll be to spin them. Next-to-skin soft too!

I'll be selling both raw and lovingly-handwashed (by me, no machines) fleeces at Shepherd's Extravaganza, April 14-17, 2016 at Washington State Fairgrounds, Puyallup. Fleeces will include natural-colored shades of Romney and Shetland wool from my own spinner's flock. There will be carded batts, combed top and handspun sample yarns available, as well as natural and hand-painted, handspun skeins from wool both from my own sheep and carefully-curated heritage breeds from around the world.

Sunday the 17th will be my 50th birthday, so if you love to spin rare / heritage-breed wool or if you want to talk sheep (or wish me a happy birthday), please drop by!
