Our amber pen shell is as versatile as it is beautiful. With natural variations of warm, luminous color ranging from rich ambers and warm creams to deep, moody browns and lush blacks, it evokes the beauty of rare tortoiseshell or horn.

Equally at home adding a timeless element to contemporary forms, like our new Cameron Cocktail Table, or bringing a luxurious finish to a more traditional piece, amber pen shell transforms furniture through both material and craftsmanship.

Creating a single piece of pen shell inlay furniture can take our master artisans hundreds of hours. Each piece of shell is scrupulously selected, cut, shaped, and laid by hand, creating intricate tessellations of naturally luminous color.

Unfolding in the studio, the new Louis Dining Table in shadow parchment with a tungsten foil base. A concealed mechanical leaf disappears seamlessly into the center, expanding the table from seating four to six with ease.
