Please join us in congratulating Toshiba Morgan-Joseph, BS, PharmD, BCPPS, on successfully completing her term as Director of Membership with the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists (NYSCHP).

Dr. Morgan-Joseph’s leadership journey reflects both vision and impact. At the Westchester County Society of Health-System Pharmacists (WCSHP), she served as Past President and introduced initiatives that helped shape the chapter’s identity and culture. She brought forward the idea of a large-scale social event, which became one of the first chapter-led gala-style gatherings within NYSCHP. This later expanded to the state level and continues to be a successful and anticipated tradition. She also championed the introduction of WCSHP-branded member merchandise, helping foster a sense of pride, connection, and visibility within the chapter. We have since continued to build on that foundation.

At the state level, as Director of the Membership Committee, Toshiba continued to strengthen engagement and connection across NYSCHP, reinforcing the importance of community in our profession.

Her trajectory is a powerful reminder of what is possible through service. Leadership like hers at the local level can evolve into broader opportunities at the state and even national level. It is through these collective efforts that we continue to advocate for our profession, strengthen our network, and create meaningful experiences year after year.

As we celebrate Dr. Morgan-Joseph, we also recognize the continuum of leaders before us, alongside us, and those who will follow. This is how we sustain and grow our organization.

We invite and encourage all members to get involved, volunteer, and explore their own leadership path. You never know where it may lead, but it always starts with showing up!!!

from WCSHP Treasurer to stepping into the President-Elect role in true trial-by-fire fashion — seamlessly carrying both roles while transitioning out of one and rising into another!

The future is in very good hands.

July 15, 2025: A QuadSquad Summer

North, South, East, West
different chapters, same purpose.
QuadSquad 2.0 - 4.0 gathered on a summer night to connect, collaborate, and build forward.

WCSHP (North), NYCSHP (West), LISHP (East), and Royals (South):
mapped in a four directional geographic cross, reflected in the Quad logo, circa 2023, brought to life by WCSHP’s own social media chair, aka “Social Media Queen”.
A design that represents not just where we are, but how we are connected.

What we are building is not just collaboration
it is continuity, community, and a legacy that will keep evolving long after us 🩶♥️🩶♥️

WCSHP members, led by Dr. Charnicia Huggins, Chair of the Community Service Committee, came together to support The Sharing Shelf through a powerful collection drive during the 2026 WCSHP Residency Symposium.

From thousands of period products to baby essentials, every item represents care, dignity, and compassion for the families we serve.
