We look forward to leading the materials workshop NeoNew at MAD Museum in New York.
“Inspired by the focus on experimentation and unconventional materials in the exhibition Chris Schanck: Off-World, Berlin-based designers Studio Nito () will lead a multi-day workshop, kicking off August 13, on transforming fashion waste into sustainable works of art and design.
During the workshop, you’ll learn to fabricate objects using discarded clothes while exploring the properties of resin and natural fibers. The Studio Nito team, which strives to challenge the status quo and embrace sustainable and social matters, will highlight its newest techniques for using nontoxic and biodegradable plastics.”
