Comfort doesn't have to come at the expense of clean design.

Encore Seating's Lapella lounge by David Ritch and Mark Saffell of 5D Studio pairs an architectural silhouette with soft, inviting comfort. Its refined frame, tailored cushions, and slim metal legs create a lounge collection that feels light, modern, and effortlessly welcoming.

Proof that the most comfortable spaces can also be beautifully understated.

A great evening of conversation, connection and recognition.

WB Wood was proud to host a table of accomplished women at the WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate Woman of the Year Gala, joining industry colleagues to recognize this year’s honoree, Nancy Lashine, Founder & CEO of Park Madison Partners.

Nancy’s inspiring reflections on her journey captivated the room, offering a powerful reminder of how sharing our experiences can encourage others to pursue their own ambitions.

Congratulations, Nancy, on this well-deserved recognition! Thank you to WX for bringing our community together and championing the advancement of women in real estate.

A lighter way to work.

Sia by Boss Design brings together ergonomic performance, sustainability and a softer approach to task seating. Flowing, organic curves and a slim profile give Sia a refined, residential feel, while nature-inspired color options bring warmth and personality to the workplace.

Behind the design is thoughtful performance, with an intuitive weight-balanced mechanism, adjustable lumbar support and seat depth adjustment. Sia also uses fewer components than most task chairs and is assembled without adhesives, reflecting a more considered approach to product design.

Haworth’s Maggiolina Lounge Chair, designed by Marco Zanuso for Zanotta , is a masterclass in enduring design.

Originally introduced in the 1940s, its distinctive steel frame and suspended leather or fabric cushions still feel remarkably relevant, balancing lightness, comfort, and architectural precision in a way few pieces can.

Ideal for executive settings, lounges, and hospitality spaces, Maggiolina brings iconic design credibility to interiors that appreciate timeless form with substance.

Designed by Justus Kolberg for Davis Furniture Industries Inc., Cerro brings together precision engineering, ergonomic comfort and a beautiful silhouette.

A continuous die-cast aluminum frame flows through the arms and back, creating a distinctive architectural profile while an upholstered back appears to float effortlessly within the structure. An intuitive swivel/tilt mechanism adds performance without compromising the simplicity of the design.

Refined enough for the private office. Comfortable enough for the conference room. Designed to make an impression in both.

Designed for some of life’s most important moments.

From late-night feedings to quiet moments of bonding and rest, the Naomi Glider from Wieland Healthcare was designed around the natural rhythm of caregiving.

Gentle gliding and rocking motion, supportive curved arms and options for reclining and an ottoman create comfort for mothers and caregivers, while thoughtful details like a quick-release seat and tip-back casters help meet the practical demands of healthcare environments.

Designed by Icelandic designer Hlynur Atlason for Heller Inc, and available through Haworth, the Bluff lounge chair draws inspiration from Iceland’s coastal landscape, where wind and water carve soft, organic forms into the rock.

With its curved silhouette, scooped seat, and warm, muted palette, Bluff creates a relaxed place to settle in, indoors or out. Made from 100% recyclable materials with integrated drainage for outdoor use, it brings together sculptural design, comfort, and versatility

Inspired by nature. Sculpted for comfort.

WB Wood was proud to support the 2026 Real Estate & Construction Gala that took place at Gotham Hall recently.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the real estate and construction community and recognizing this year’s honorees, Sarah Wrench of Capital One and Alexandra Liz of Blackstone, for their leadership and impact across the industry.

The evening supported Special Olympics New York and its work providing year-round sports, inclusion programs, resources and opportunities for more than 51,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across New York State.

We’re grateful for opportunities to come together with our industry peers in support of a meaningful cause and a strong community. Congratulations to the honorees and everyone who helped make the evening a success!

It was a beautiful night at the CoreNet Global REmmy Awards, celebrating innovative projects and recognizing the individuals and teams shaping the future of corporate real estate. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and nominees! ✨

We were especially honored to see the AEO Headquarters nominated for the 2026 REmmy Award for Project of the Year.

WB Wood is incredibly proud to have been a partner in bringing this dynamic space to life alongside an amazing project team. Seeing the finished space recognized among this year’s standout projects makes the collaboration even more meaningful.

And kudos to our very own Laurie Hutner who is Co-Chair of the REmmys Awards Committee.
