Currently working on a 9.5’ diameter antique pine table for Drip’s Cafe in the Bronx.
This modular table is being built in four sections using 24 pieces of reclaimed antique pine, all sourced right here in the Bronx. There’s something special about giving this incredible old wood a new life in the same borough where it once served another purpose.
The Oliver 12B 24” jointer has been an absolute pleasure to work with. There’s a certain satisfaction in using classic American-made machinery to build a brand-new table from reclaimed lumber with so much history.

Spalted Maple Burl
Locally sourced and reclaimed, this stunning spalted maple burl came from a tree that was brought into our yard. As we milled it, we were excited to discover just how beautiful the figure and spalting turned out.
Every piece is one of a kind, with incredible natural character that’s impossible to replicate.
We currently have 7 slabs available—perfect for custom tables, countertops, furniture, or statement pieces.

Last run on 1,200 sq. ft. of reclaimed antique pine flooring.
We love reclaiming history and providing locally sourced materials to our clients. Every board has a story, and we’re proud to give this beautiful wood a new life.
We’re excited to deliver these stunning floors on Monday and can’t wait to see them installed in their new home.

The 36” planer seems to be the only machine to cause issues for the 30Kw generac. On this amazing day we are planing 140 antique pine boards. This wood came from a building in the bronx and will now spend its life on soho.

We we work to finish this 1200 sq ft of flooring, this 14’ boards are not as tough as i thought it would me. Next stop is planning everything to 7/8’s thick.

Finally. All things come together to get us back in the road again. We are milling 1200 sq ft of antique pine boards 10-14’ long x 9” wide lots of nail pulling,70 antique beams. Will be resawn into 140 boards that we will plane to the same thickness. The 25kw generator providing the power. .

We had the pleasure of building two 10’ x 4’ tables and one 3’ x 5’ desk table for a client at 809 Broadway.

What made this project especially meaningful was that the original building was the Blatt Billiard Building, and we were able to reclaim antique yellow pine lumber directly from the structure and give it a new life. Having that connection to the material and the history behind it is exactly why we do what we do.

The move to Yonkers took nearly two months and came with its share of challenges. There were moments when it felt like we were stuck in the ditch, but we’re finally on the other side of it and getting back on track.

The yard is still a work in progress, but now we have the opportunity to build it into what we always envisioned. We’re currently running the shop on generators to keep the machines going while we get everything sorted out, but we’re moving forward every day.

For now, this project feels like a milestone—a reminder of where we’ve been, what we’ve overcome, and where we’re headed.

Maybe it’s a homecoming… or maybe it’s me finally understanding what a second home really means.

Atlanta gave me so much—memories I didn’t fully appreciate until I left. Getting into Morehouse. Working at the Four Seasons. Buying my first 911. Freaknik. Antique shopping like it was a sport. The ‘96 Olympics. The food, the music… unmatched. I also became a father there—one of the greatest blessings of my life.

No beaches, no sand—but nothing beats those sweet Georgia peaches 🍑

I even had the chance to plant roots, to stay. But back then, my mind was on NYC. Funny how life works… sometimes you don’t realize how much a place means to you until you run from it.

Now I get to come back—with purpose.

Grateful to be part of the Black Boy Art Show alongside so many incredible artists. Full circle moment.

We are getting to the end of the move Amd are left with the Big machines. This 30” Yates jointer my also be up for sale as will many machines from this shop, and extras in Dover Plains. This was pushed right back into the shop. Too heavy for the lift gate. .
