Bride and Groom, Nikkō Tōshō-gū in Nikkō, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. These two were incredible to get to know throughout the day of photographing them around Nikkō. We had some surprising experiences in common like all three of us having worked in Africa previously.

Maid of Honor at the wheel, Bride gripping the side handle, and me hanging onto the back of the golf cart like a sentient sack of clubs or some photo gnome photo troll, camera in hand. Having said that now it reminds me of when I had the role of in my first grade(?) play. Or, with that giant backpack I may be more a photo ninja turtle.
📷 Photo by my partner in nearly all wedding documentary crimes . We all have fun. Always. Awesome being and working(?) with people who have have that spark and joie de vivre.
