We're excited to share our latest design for just in time for the holidays!

Meet the Bub Vase!

'Bubs appear around us all the time, enjoying happy but fleeting lives. Talbot & Yoon sought to capture only the friendliest of these buoyant creatures in glass to live on in your favorite spaces forever. The Bub Bud Vase looks particularly cute holding small flower arrangements or, like a bubble, simply floating around the room on its own.'

Our Kirby Vase for is a ceramic vase for floral arrangements, small bouquets, or a simple stem. Think of it as a best-bud vase to keep you company.

The Maebyeong ‘Plum’ Vase was passed down by Youngjin’s grandmother who several decades ago –as a refugee from North Korea during the Korean War– received it as a gift. It is an example of Goryeo Celadon. While celadon (greenware) was first introduced by China, potters from the Korean Goryeo Dynasty in the 12th century developed the distinctive sanggam technique of inlaying white and black pigments into carved or stamped motifs making them appear to float within a green glaze. Traditionally used to store high quality wines, the small and slightly curled mouth, short neck, rounded shoulder and narrow waist are characteristic of the Maebyeong type vessel. As evinced by the description above, the design of this and many other traditional ceramic vessels evoke the anthropomorphic characteristics that influence our work.

put on a one-night-only exhibition at gallery for the upcoming launch of their book How to Live With Objects. They invited 16 designers — eight from their book and eight from exhibition partner, — to exhibit two objects each: one they'd made, and one that was meaningful to them.
