The Burl was sliced into 1" thick pieces and all the bark was thoroughly removed. Strategically positioned the pieces inside the surfboard template. Now it's time to build the mold. Loving the shape of this!!!

The clamps got removed today and applied the finish. Rubio MonoCoat Pure hard wax oil.

Yesterday I decided the base looked too narrow so I added a block on both sides of the center leg and I think it looks 100% better!!!
