NAWIC is an organization of women that are employed in the construction industry. It was founded in 1953 by 16 women working in the construction industry. state.
The Chapter meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at varied locations in the Omaha, Nebraska area. The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas.
