Rocked out John’s Freeman 34 this week. Added a full “coffin box” sun pad cushion and back rest, for those days the fish catch break, and John doesn’t have a line in the water!. I have it on good account that when Chuck Norris wanted to learn to fish in the Gulf, John was the only guy he trusted..

Finally got my own boat done for the time being. Current upholstery switched from factory brown/beige to tri-color grey. Grey SeaDek came in today for upper and lower helm pads and ladder platform pads. Next up t-top and removable bench seat and backrest over the winter.

A little Wednesday upholstery p**n.. Customer had me do his exterior cushions and seats last year. Was time this week to do two of the cabin seat cushions. Combo of white and black with smooth and pleated vinyl flows amazingly well on this beautiful boat. Black junk cushions are what we started with from the factory.. 🤦🏻🤦🏻

No worse a customer than the upholster himself.. lol I recently changed the color of my own boats interior from 2 tone beige/brown to 2 tone grey. The leaning post seat back was the last thing I had to do. Busted this out today. Expermenting with a med/high density foam composite that isn’t available on the market yet. It’s a polymer foam composite that never molds or looses its original shape like most foam. We will see how it holds up. And yes the small wrinkles will work out with some hot Florida sunshine. Fancy Everglades in the books. What a beast of a job. Total redesign with more diamonds than the queen of England! Everyone in this industry has a seat or piece that haunt them for along time.. last pick is in the top 3 for me do to a variety of reasons, some within and some outside my control.. ((((Shivers)))))..lol Just comming back from vacation so I have some spots to fill with quicker than usual turn around times.
