Before and After!
Hello, My name is Jamie Kirk. I am happily married & settled ( finally) in Pensacola Florida. We live close to Perdido key along the beautiful beaches here in the panhandle of Florida. I love anything coastal and have always loved living near the water. Painting and decorating are my passions. When I was young I wanted to be an artist. Somehow that never quite panned out as life goes its way with marriage and add in raising a family . I went into nursing and enjoyed that journey in my life but now that I am older, more settled in and have long since raised my children the creative side of me came back to visit.
I am certified in Interior Decorating and I am back to painting but this time its furniture! I love bringing the beauty back into an old worn piece of furniture that just needs a little attention. Sometimes all it needs is a big of spit and polish if its an antique. But otherwise changing up a piece of furniture can make it look like a brand new piece you never knew you had!
Its fun decorating rooms , bringing the existing furniture into an entirely different look. I love taking my clients ideas and wishes into fruition. And they love that they can redecorate a room or rooms without breaking the bank by buying all new furniture. Also taking heirlooms that are rather tired and old looking that they want to keep in their homes and bringing it back to life. So they can keep those old treasures.
I also still also love to go junking and buy or rescue pieces that are destined for the garbage bin or side of the road! I look forward to seeing what I can do with each and every piece. I am a bit of a perfectionist and so I am always trying to get the best finishes for every piece I turn out .
