Diner en Blanc - Philadelphia
Diner en Blanc is an elegant large-scale picnic from Paris taking place in a secret location. It promises to be a can’t-miss event of the year!
Launched nearly 30 years ago in Paris by François Pasquier and his close friends, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris continues to bring more than 10,000 people together each year in some of the French Capital’s most prestigious sites. Over the years, the event has grown in recognition and attendance, taking place at the Pont des Arts, the Champs-Élysée, and the garden of the Palais Royal, amongst others.

The countdown to 250 continues! Popping up at Elfreth's Alley, the nation's oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the United States. The cobblestone alley is named for Jeremiah Elfreth, an 18th-century blacksmith, and features 32 historic homes built between 1720 and 1836 that showcase 18th and 19th-century working-class life. We set our DEB table up in the the brand new Dolly Ottey Park, a pocket park named for the woman who led the preservation efforts of the alley in the 1930's.

The countdown to our nation’s 250th birthday is ON! We’re at the center of it all here in Philadelphia, so we couldn’t resist seeing how our Dîner en Blanc tables look in some historic spots around town.
In honor of Flag Day this Sunday, we popped up at the Betsy Ross house at 239 Arch Street. Credited with making the first stars and stripes flag, Betsy Ross (1752-1836) was a successful upholsterer who produced flags for the government for 50 years. Betsy Ross’ original sewing table was recently donated to the Betsy Ross House by her great, great, great, great, grandson and it will be on display beginning June 14th, so make sure to check it out!
We also couldn’t resist showing off this adorable Betsy Ross plate from the "Philadelphia Collection" available now at . The whole collection is fabulous, so a few more pieces are sure to pop-up on our tables...
