Showtime in Stone Harbor, NJ this weekend.

Since I had several folks ask about Lazy Susans at my last show I decided I should make some. Of course I had to do something a notch or two above the typical Walmart fair. I included some details with each photo. Hope you like them!

3rd Place again in the Fine Crafts category, for the second year in a row at the Peddler's Village Fine Arts & Crafts Festival this past weekend. I'm going to have to up my game for next year.

I've been busy! I'm in the process of building up some inventory for my shows. Here's a collection of cutting boards and cheese servers I've been working on. Details about each can be found by selecting the individual photos.

I made these large 18" x 12" x 1-1/4" thick cutting boards with juice drains this past weekend. They were made using random strips of domestic and exotic woods. All have been seasoned with mineral oil.

The North Penn Select Arts & Fine Crafts show is this Saturday. One of the new items I'll have for sale are Deluxe pizza cutters. These are made with high quality 4" diameter stainless steel cutters, which are very sharp. The handles are made using various exotic woods. The one on the left includes a Cocobolo handle, the right one is Borneo Rosewood.

I enjoy working on all sorts of woodworking projects from the complex to the very simple. I did this project for a customer a little while back that was simple and fun to work on. He wanted a key rack as a gift for his girlfriend that had her initials followed by the playing card spade symbol. I have no idea what the spade symbol represents...I didn't ask. He sent me this drawing, I came up with this finished product. The beveled edge mounting plaque is made from Cherry, and the letters are dyed Maple.

The first 2 photos show a stylized letter "N", after the laser cutting has been completed.

The "MCR" monogram was cut out in one piece, its about 18" tall. It has several coats of white primer, but the final color will be pink. I believe the customer will be installing it in a child's nursery.

These can be made with 1,2, or 3 letter options, in the color of your choosing. They can also be made enclosed within a border, like a heart or oval.

These make great gifts for bridal or baby showers, house warming, and other occasions. Please give me a shout if you're interested in getting a custom monogram.
