Tailored lighting for distinctive architecture
When standard products are not enough, bespoke solutions make the difference. For the Colonnades project in Belgium, WE-EF developed a customised version of the DAC240 ceiling luminaire, seamlessly combining functional illumination with architectural expression.
Featuring a large-scale canopy of almost 800 mm in diameter and integrated indirect lighting, the solution provides uniform illumination throughout the colonnades while highlighting the unique character of the architecture after dark.
The project demonstrates how technical expertise, customer-focused development and close collaboration can deliver a lighting solution that goes far beyond a standard product. The result is a durable, easy-to-maintain and sustainable installation designed to enhance both the space and the user experience.

With the opening of its new International Customs Facility, Tulsa International Airport introduces nonstop international travel for the first time, marking a new chapter for the city. The façade becomes a visual anchor for this transformation, using light to welcome travelers and celebrate Tulsa as a destination.
Working closely with the project team, we delivered a fully customized GOBO projection solution that transformed architectural surfaces into a canvas for artful, precise illumination. From concept development and projection mapping to final focusing and commissioning, our team provided hands-on, on-site support throughout the installation process to ensure every detail aligned with the design vision.
The project also featured color-changing luminaires integrated into the façade design. To achieve the desired wall washing effect, we adapted inground luminaires with custom-engineered mounting brackets, allowing them to be installed in a non-traditional application while delivering seamless, dynamic color across the building exterior.

Light shaping movement, perception and identity.
At the new Princeton University Art Museum, WE‑EF lighting helps guide visitors through and around the building while accentuating the museum’s distinctive architectural character. Using ETV140 inground luminaires, the lighting creates a precise, low-glare wallwashing effect that enhances orientation, visual comfort and the overall visitor experience.
A project demonstrating how light can become an integral part of architecture.
