MAMA walked inside and got hit in the FACE...with the AC! 😆 That's the way it has to be in Texas hunni! AC needs to knock you out! She fit her entire family in there she had 4 or five littles with her!!! So you know she needed that AC to calm everyone down.☺️

The Mobile MilkSpace has artic blast AC 🥶 for the hot summers and Toasty Roasty heat ♨️ for the fall and winter!

The DOC HAS SPOKEN! A Doctor used MilkSpace today to pump! She was able to pump successfully and use the Medela Global essentials during the DFWBMW Annual Mental Health Walk & Health Fair!

Did you know Breastfeeding DISPARITY Rates are REAL?

Black women have the lowest breastfeeding initiation and continuation rates of any major racial group in the United States, driven largely by systemic, economic, and healthcare inequities rather than personal choice.

Hospital Support and Formula Deserts: Hospitals that serve predominantly Black communities often provide less bedside lactation support and offer free formula at higher rates.

Workplace and Economic Pressures: Black women are more likely to return to work earlier after childbirth. They are also disproportionately employed in low-wage or hourly jobs that lack paid family leave, flexible break times, or private spaces to pump milk.

Generational and Historical Factors: Historical wet-nurse practices during slavery, combined with aggressive formula marketing targeted at low-income communities of color in past decades, disrupted intergenerational breastfeeding knowledge-sharing.

Impact on Maternal and Infant Health: Breast milk helps protect infants against sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), respiratory infections, and childhood obesity. Because Black infants face higher rates of premature birth and low birth weight, access to proper lactation support and breast milk is a critical public health strategy to help reduce infant mortality and health disparities.

Event Planners: His wife loved her MilkSpace, LLC experience at Historic Downtown McKinney Oktoberfest and he was one happy dad. 🙌🏾

Then he asked me: "Do you have a donation page?" 👀

💡 We had a REAL conversation about it. I thought about it and really want to make this happen! So here I am.

Here's the honest truth: Many of the community events that I'm invited to support need a private, comfortable place to nurse or pump but are often limited in their event planning budgets.

So I'm building a way for businesses and individuals to sponsor MilkSpace® at community events, so no mom has to choose between feeding her baby and showing up in her community.
