In between painting client Katie’s living room, Rebeca’s chest of drawers and getting ready for PumpkinFest in Franklin Saturday, I refinished this solid oak dining table! Bought Tuesday, stripped, sanded, primed, stained painted and put 3 topcoats on by Wednesday night. Today two more topcoats. I don’t know what got into me! This is now our personal dining room table replacing the one that was broken in our move here 8 years ago. I will no longer mourn its loss. And goodbye, temporary MCM Gate-leg! The round shape fits better in my tiny square dining room! Colors are Urbane Bronze and stain is ‘Habitat,’ a grey-brown. Last photograph to is the ‘before.’
