The handwoven Plastic Cane we use for our canoe seats is also a great choice for indoor or outdoor seat caning projects. It's strong, durable, maintenance free, doesn't absorb water, doesn't require varnishing, doesn't splinter, is comfortable to sit on and smooth to the touch!
This before & after picture shows a child's chair we re-caned for a family member...it looks just like new natural cane
