Yes, we do build custom cabinets! This vanity makes quite a statement clad in zebrawood veneer. A little "exotic" can go a very long way. Each variety of wood has it's own natural beauty, and we love to make the most of cool grain patterns like this.

Some tools are cool and sleek like this table saw, and some are...well...not. But even the humble wooden cart has it's uses in hauling all of the amazing wood around the shop. And what's more appropriate in a woodworking shop than a tool made of wood? 😎

Oh, this is fun. LED lighting gives these custom memorabilia shelves a very cool vibe. Our client will display all of his favorite things with built-ins on three walls, so these shelves will definitely make the room. We can't wait to deliver them in just a few days - so stay tuned for photos of the final installation!

Derry was delighted to meet with a group of local interior designers to share the 55Grit story and vision last week. 55Grit builds custom furniture, built-ins, and art pieces made to last for generations. We love wood (duh) and we love the strong grain patterns in this white oak conference table. Custom built for a local realtor's office, it's one of our favorite creations with detailed joinery and a warm stain finish to bring out the organic beauty. What a great table to gather around, plan, and dream with future homeowners!
