Wifey putting her new Christmas gift to the test ! Woop ! Woop!

Pretty excited about how this turned out… need to make a few more of these now.

What a fun project! and even more cool that I could partner with Wendy over at Ugly Duckling Treasures on this coffee table.
After I completed the build with maple wood, Wendy put her skills to work to put an awesome finish on the table. If your curious about the finish here are some of the details provided by Wendy.

I finished it off using colors selected by the client, Almond Latte and Toasted Coconut.
Milk Paint pairs well with raw wood as it completely adheres and becomes one with the wood. What does this mean? No chipping!
Sealed the entire piece with h**p oil and added clear wax on the top.

This table is going to look perfect in his client's home.

Chipping away at this little project … fun stuff ! Fi still need some shaping and sanding , and then need to start working on the top .

From start to finish , this one has been a fun project. The little boy that will call this his bed , can now imagine flying to the moon . Let those dreams begin to run wild !!!
