These tops where so cracked and weathered that they had to be stripped completely. Then I layered magnolia hurricane gray and caviar. Then let that dry and added a glaze.

Then the other two were stained with American Honey dried and added a black and light gray transfer. After scuffing all the edges I added the same stain directly over the top to give it a more aged look.

A little transfer and some fun gray today. And I think my job ended today. It’s kind of sad lol but I’ll start on another one as soon as someone else calls.

This is what my Friday morning looked like. Now I have to go home and get a chainsaw to finish off that stump. And I need to cut up a pallet to get the rest of the 4x4. Yaya I added to the process.

I have been thinking about changing this color from the first pic to the second pic color for well over a year. Between life and worry over how it would look I haven’t done it yet. This morning I asked ChatGPT to show me what it would look like. Well fear is now off the table. I just need to make the time now.

Here’s what’s going on you need help with kitchen / bathroom cabinets, or a piece of furniture painted. I just happen to enjoy that kind of work. I do it on my days off Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays. I use Dixie Belle paint and Gator hide top coats. Most generally for kitchen/ bath I go in and clean remove doors and draws mark every thing then I paint cabinets. I take doors/draws to my location and perp them and paint them then return them and rehang them. You may wonder why I do it like this. It keeps me out of your way and the job can be completed soon since I can work on doors and draws in the evenings. Price’s vary depending on the amount of cabinets. Here I go again had the day off from bed and bath. So from 1:30 to 10:30 I worked on 6 side table. Sanding, filling in, making new edges so on and so forth. I’m super excited I have two fold down side tables and four side tables made from old vanity’s.

Mirrors and barn door stops. But until then I’ll be back to painting furniture
