Finally wrapped up this personalized ash family sign.
Each one is carved from solid ash, personalized with your family name and established year, then hand finished to bring out the natural grain. No two boards are exactly alike, which is part of what makes working with real wood so satisfying.

Just finished the first prototype of a new personalized family sign.
This one is carved from solid ash hardwood and finished to bring out the natural grain. The black fill settled into the open grain in a way I wasn’t expecting, but I think it gives the piece a unique character while keeping the crisp V-carved details.
Still refining the design, but I’m excited with how this first prototype turned out.

Finished up a small batch of cedar pumpkin lanterns.
They’re made from cedar, sealed with spar urethane, and designed for battery-powered LED tea lights only. I made three different face styles, available with either a warm white or color-changing tea light.
They’re roughly 11” x 10” x 5”, so they work well on a porch, shelf, table, or Halloween display.
Natural wood varies quite a bit, so each one will have its own grain, knots, and color differences.
