One of the reasons I prefer D'Addario strings: packaging. It seems trivial, but look at the waste comparison. That adds up quick! We only have one Earth, a lot of companies could be a whole lot better at protecting it. I restring hundreds of guitars a year, I'd love to kill fewer trees in the process.

For whoever needs to hear this, and you know who you are, for the love of god please clean your guitar and wash your hands every so often. This fretboard is absolutely disgusting.

What do you do when a specialty screw breaks and finding a replacement is impossible? Make one! These Floyd Rose string block screws have weakened over time, it's time to swap them all out. I don't have a lathe, but I do have a drill and files!

I love interesting woodworking hacks. This Duo-Sonic fretboard had a significant chunk missing from the edge. A little rosewood dust and CA glue, and it's almost invisible!
