A little different from my normal furniture content today.

Sometimes I think social media makes it look like owning a business is all exciting new products, happy customers, big ideas and celebrating the wins.

And sometimes… you’re just tired.

I wanted to share a little bit of the person behind Venta today — not because I have some profound lesson 😂 — but because I think there’s something to be said for showing the real side of building a small business too.

Today I learned I need a “hook” to stop people from scrolling.

So I said, “STOP SCROLLING.”

Apparently that’s not what they meant. 🤷‍♀️😂

So I told them to stop scrolling.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. 🤷‍♀️😂

Anyway… social media training is going GREAT.

🚨 WAIT… ARE WE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?! 😂

We were just told that one of our financing companies may DROP Venta Furnishings because apparently…

OUR CUSTOMERS PAY TOO WELL. 🤯

Yep. You read that right.

Too many of our customers are paying their accounts ON TIME or paying them off EARLY — which means the finance company isn’t making as much money as expected.

So apparently being responsible with your money is… bad for business? 😂

I had to make a video about this because I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

But here’s what I DO know:

We’ve spent years helping San Antonio families find furniture they love AND financing options that make sense for their budget.

And if our customers are paying their furniture off early?

👏 GOOD. FOR. THEM. 👏

We’ll keep doing everything we can to help our customers — even if somebody else doesn’t like how quickly y’all pay your bills. 😂
