I just got some custom cabinets made by Schroeder cabs.
Two 12PLs and one custom 810PL with a 10" and 8".
Each are the same dimensions and only 30 to 35 lbs, and 800 watts RMS each!
Killer modular setup.
Sounds full, punchy and articulate with headroom for days, from a one cab rehearsal to 3 cabs at a large venue.
Perfect for any of these GR Basses rigs!

I received a message from someone with an early GR bass.
It doesn't even have a serial number!
This was a hand rubbed dye sunburst with a thin finish to show the wood grain. Nice to see it out there still in good shape

Just shipped this Lake Placid blue Aurora Standard to Texas. This one has a Nordstrand preamp and Musicman style singles, with a whopping .160 low G string!
I got a chance to take some decent photos of the final bass this time.
I'll post them later

It's been a while, but GR Basses has some new things coming.
The green and cream basses will be done and available for sale soon.
The Gray one is for me, replacing the neck that ended up on a customer's GR bass. More bodies coming later in the year.
Check out the new zero fret and string tree, adjustable height from the back with new serial plate.
What do you think? Please comment.

Just tried out the new custom tuner drill jig. It worked great, perfect holes every time!

It's time to get back to building!
After putting the basses on hold during the shutdown and getting a bad case of covid back in July, I just made some improvements on the mutiscale neck design. Version 2.0 has a zero fret, improved truss rod and carbon reinforcements and I ditched the fingerboard overhang.
I'll have more necks and bodies in the coming months, hoping for a better 2021!!!
