Do my wedding invitations need to match my save the dates?

Some couples want to use the same elements in the save the date and the invitation suite, like a watercolor venue illustration.

Some couples wants similar elements used in different ways, like hydrangea flowers flat-printed + then blind-letterpressed.

Some couples want to be modern + playful with their save the dates, then make a look that is a bit more formal + simple for the wedding invitations.

The final word? There are no wrong answers! When it comes to your custom wedding paper, you need to make it your work and have something that is authentic to you.

Is there anything more quintessentially Connecticut than a classic blue + white wedding?

Caroline + Will’s paper story began with a custom watercolor illustration of the church tucked inside the prettiest powder blue envelopes. We paired it with classic blue letterpress, vintage postage + a deep blue details card for their reception at Great River Golf Club in Milford.

The result was a timeless wedding invitation suite. Being born + raised in Connecticut, weddings like this will always have my heart.
